Between 1997 and 1998, the Environmental Movement «BIOM» actively organized and participated in various citywide environmental campaigns in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at improving the state of the natural environment, conserving natural resources, raising environmental awareness, and promoting environmental safety.
As part of campaigns such as «Clean Ponds» and «Let’s Save Our Park,» participants of the Movement took on the task of cleaning up and improving important natural sites, such as ponds and parks. These activities included not only litter removal but also creating safer and more environmentally sustainable conditions for natural resources and society as a whole.
In addition to direct action to improve the environment, the Environmental Movement «BIOM» actively focused its efforts on educating and informing the public about the importance of environmental safety and conservation activities. These campaigns helped raise environmental awareness and encouraged active citizen participation in improving the environmental situation in the country.
Overall, the Environmental Movement «BIOM»‘s activities during this period were aimed at creating a safer and more sustainable living environment for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, as well as fostering an environmental culture and sense of responsibility in society in the context of environmental safety.
