In 2004, the Environmental Movement «BIOM» launched the project «Household Ecology for Everyone,» which included, among other things, the creation of the book «Household Ecology» for a general audience.
The book «Household Ecology»: the book was developed by experts of the Environmental Movement «BIOM,» drawing on current research and best practices in environmental safety. These experts contributed to the book’s content, ensuring its quality and relevance.
The implementation of the project «Household Ecology for Everyone» was made possible by financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan. These funds were used to publish the book, create thematic booklets, and distribute project materials to a wide audience.
Published in Russian and Kyrgyz: the book «Household Ecology» and the thematic booklets were published in both Russian and Kyrgyz to ensure the information’s accessibility and comprehension for different language groups in Kyrgyzstan.
The project’s goal was not only to provide practical knowledge and recommendations on environmental safety, but also to encourage changes in citizens’ everyday habits and lifestyles. This contributes to raising environmental awareness and building a more sustainable and environmentally responsible public practice in Kyrgyzstan.
