Authoritative ecologists and a number of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh state that high-ranking officials and hunting economies profit from hunting in Kyrgyzstan. In 2017, the parliament did not adopt the bill to impose a moratorium on the hunting of rare animals.
Who is interested in making the fight against poachers ineffective? What corruption schemes are operating in hunting economies? What needs to be done to impose a strict ban on illegal hunting?
