Yesterday, December 21, 2022, the project “Green Climate/Youth Resilience to Climate Change,” funded by the European Union, held an online working meeting with youth to discuss development programs for the city of Osh and Osh region in ZOOM.
More than 30 eco-activists and youth from the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Bishkek participated in the meeting.
Nurzhan Toktogulova – an expert from the Center for Regional Studies and Development, presented the development program for the Osh region for 2023-2026 “Osh Region – Territory of Champions.” Also, Bakyt Satybekov – an expert from the Center for Regional Studies and Development, presented the socio-economic development program for the city of Osh for the period 2022-2026 “A City Worthy of the Future.”
The participants were very active and asked many questions. We see how the youth of Kyrgyzstan are not standing aside and are proactive in issues related not only to climate but also infrastructure.
