The Communication and Information Coordinator will be responsible for the development, planning, organisation and monitoring of internal and external communication for the European Union funded project “Cross-Border Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue for Tolerance and Peace in Central Asia”.
The Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Chairperson of the Ecological Movement “BIOM” from the project office in Bishkek.
The EU project “Cross-Border Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue for Tolerance and Peace in Central Asia” is implemented by a consortium led by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation together with three national partners: the Ecological Movement “BIOM” (Kyrgyzstan), the Yuksalish National Movement (Uzbekistan), and the Zerkalo Research Centre (Tajikistan).
The project aims to promote multi-stakeholder cross-border dialogue and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in order to foster tolerance and mutual understanding and to prevent radicalisation, as well as to raise awareness of the roots of violent extremism and the importance of good mutual understanding, and to build the capacity of local civil society in the border areas of the three countries.
