Call for applications! We are opening the call for grant applications for media initiatives covering climate change issues.

SELECTION CRITERIA
● Experience of the lead applicant in the media sector, i.e. of the journalist / specialist submitting the application;
● The type of activity for which the grant may be awarded;
● The forms of funding and the types of costs that may be taken into account when determining the amount of the grant.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
● Be interested in covering climate change issues;
● Be directly responsible for the preparation and implementation of the grant, and not act as an intermediary.
● The applicant may apply in cooperation with a group of other journalists / specialists.
● The applicant may submit more than one application to the call, but only one initiative can be funded. Co-applicants may be involved in more than one initiative.

WHERE AND HOW TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS:
The complete application package must be filled in electronically and must consist of:
● A completed application form for the proposed initiative;
● A completed budget for the initiative;
● The applicant’s identity document;
● The applicant’s bank details.
Completed application packages must be submitted by 14 April 2023, 23:00 Bishkek time. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
