On 29 September the presentation of the teaching and learning package “HISTORY OF WORLD CIVILISATIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT” took place, with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation @kas_zentralasien and the Ecological Movement «BIOM»
The meeting opened with a welcome address by Ronny Heine, Regional Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Among the participants were representatives of the National Academy of Sciences, schoolteachers and university lecturers from Kyrgyzstan, as well as all other interested people. This publication is intended for the training of master’s students in the field of “Socio-economic education” — the profiles “History”, “Legal education” and “Social studies”.
A general discussion was held on the theme of the package “An interdisciplinary approach in contemporary knowledge: sustainable development as a methodological framework”, where participants were able to ask questions of interest and share their ideas and thoughts about the teaching and learning package. As the authors of the package said during the presentation, the result of taking the course should be that students develop knowledge of the history of civilisations and form the values, points of reference and competences needed to take part in contemporary civilisational processes in line with these principles!
