We invite youth activists, students, teachers and other interested groups of the Chui and Issyk-Kul regions to take part in the national consultations ahead of the conference «Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all — our responsibility, our opportunity», which will be held online on 21 April 2022 from 16:00 to 18:00.

“Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity” is an international meeting organised by the Government of Sweden and convened by the UN General Assembly in Stockholm.
As part of the consultations in Kyrgyzstan, a series of meetings with young people from all regions of the country will be held. The results of the consultations will be used at the international Stockholm+50 (S+50) meeting in the form of national reports and a global summary report, which will bring together the main conclusions, recommendations, data, media coverage and references to national policy frameworks.
Key themes of the consultations:
Reflecting on the urgent need for action to achieve a healthy planet and prosperity for all,
Achieving a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic,
Accelerating the implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development in context,
The decade of action and delivery for sustainable development.
We, young people, must become one of the key partners in holding these consultations, so as to convey our position and our voice in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

* The consultations are held by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, the United Nations Development Programme in the Kyrgyz Republic, the project “Youth Resilience to Climate Change — Jashyl Klimat” and the youth environmental initiative “Jashyl Muun”.
