Today the coordination meeting of the Project team is taking place in Tashkent
The Project team has come together to take stock of the interim results and to discuss the next steps of the Project’s implementation.
To date, within the Project
Centres of Friendship, Interethnic Accord and Peacebuilding have been opened in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan;
debate and discussion clubs have been launched;
analytical studies have been carried out to identify the vulnerability factors of young people in the Fergana Valley;
a content analysis of the media has been conducted on the broadcasting of ethnic and religious discrimination;
field research has been carried out;
a regional media strategy has been created, and so on.
The project coordination meeting will run for three days at the office of the Yuksalish national movement (Tashkent)
