On 20 December 2021 the Ecological Movement “BIOM”, within the EU project “Jashyl Klimat”, took part in a workshop on environmental openness organised by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) as part of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) process in Kyrgyzstan.
During the event, deputies of the newly elected Jogorku Kenesh and representatives of civil society organisations discussed questions of access to environmental information, participation in environmentally significant decision-making, and the identification of the most pressing points on the environmental agenda.
The project «Jashyl Klimat — Youth Resilience to Climate Change» is implemented under the overall coordination of the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature, in partnership with the Ecological Movement «BIOM» and the Public Association «GLIP», with the financial support of the European Union.
