The Ecological Movement “BIOM”, in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, invites you to take part in the conference “Youth in the system of COP 26 agreements: green skills and mechanisms of participation”, which will be held offline at the “Novotel Bishkek” hotel and online on the ZOOM platform.
The headline speakers of the conference will be:
• O. A. Togusakov, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Vice-President of the NAS KR, Honoured Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Philosophy;
• Zoya Kretova, expert of the “Jashyl Klimat” project;
• Anna Kirilenko, Chair of the Global Forest Coalition;
• Bermet Kanimetova, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic;
• Vlad Ushakov, environmental activist, photojournalist;
• Farhad Yarullin, Geo Energy;
• Irina Bayramukova, environmental journalist;
• Umetov Umetov, Arabaev Kyrgyz State University.
Creative studios will be organised as part of the conference, where participants will be able to take part in master classes on environmental journalism, environmental photography, energy-efficient business solutions for protecting the climate, and the green professions of the future.
