On 10 November 2021, in the Central Asia pavilion (COP-26, Glasgow), under the general theme — NATURE: Ensuring the importance of nature and sustainable land use as part of global action on climate change and green recovery.
From 11:30 to 12:30 Glasgow time (17:30 — 18:30 Bishkek / 14:30 — 15:30 Moscow) a session will be held: Joining efforts to conserve the snow leopard in the context of climate adaptation. The main item will be the approval of a cross-border Memorandum of cooperation on the conservation of the snow leopard, its prey base and its habitat between the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
