On August 24, the LCOY Bishkek Youth Climate Change Conference, organized by our friends at Jerdin Baldary, will take place
The youth of Kyrgyzstan are an active, conscious and responsible part of our society, whose opinion matters greatly. We are convinced that youth need to be involved in addressing climate change, environmental protection, and the country’s social and economic development. Tomorrow, during the conference, Kyrgyzstan’s active and progressive youth will be able to take part in shaping the Youth Position on Climate Change.
It is worth noting that the “Youth Resilience to Climate Change” project supported the conference and helped organize it, and project experts
Anna Kirilenko and
Zoya Kretova are speakers at the event.
The “Youth Resilience to Climate Change” project is implemented under the general coordination of the Norwegian Society for the Protection of Nature, in partnership with BIOM and GLIP, with the financial support of the European Union.
