Since the early 2000s, the Environmental Movement “BIOM” has actively implemented a program for the development of alternative energy sources. This program aims to research, develop, and introduce innovative approaches to the use of alternative energy sources in Kyrgyzstan and to expand opportunities for the population to use them.
The program includes the following activities:
1. Research and development: the Environmental Movement “BIOM” actively participates in scientific research and development in the field of alternative energy sources. This includes studying the potential of solar, wind, hydro, and other types of alternative energy sources in Kyrgyzstan.
2. Educational events: organizing seminars, trainings, and master classes for the public, the business sector, and government bodies with the goal of teaching and promoting the use of alternative energy sources.
3. Support for projects and startups: financing and supporting projects and startups related to alternative energy sources, with the goal of stimulating innovation and developing the sector.
4. Advocacy and policy influence: participating in work with government bodies and public structures to develop policies and regulations that promote the development of alternative energy sources and improve energy efficiency.
This program aims to create sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources, contributing to reduced dependence on fossil fuels and reduced negative environmental impact. The Environmental Movement “BIOM” thus plays an important role in promoting sustainable development and improving the lives of the population of Kyrgyzstan.
