The project “Support for the Central Asian Youth Network for a Favorable Environment” was implemented over two years, from 2007 to 2009. The project’s main goal was to provide assistance to youth organizations in Central Asia working on environmental protection and sustainable development.
The project provided the following types of support:
1. Youth organizations and projects related to environmental protection received financial support to implement their initiatives and activities.
2. The network helped establish connections and cooperation between youth organizations in the region. This facilitated the exchange of experience and knowledge in environmental protection.
3. The project conducted training events, seminars, and trainings for young people interested in environmental issues. These events helped participants acquire knowledge and skills in sustainable development.
4. The network provided access to information resources and databases on environmental protection.
The project encouraged the active participation of young people in solving environmental problems and helped foster environmental awareness in the Central Asian region. This was an important step toward sustainable development and environmental protection in the region.
