Project to Support Environmental Organizations of Kyrgyzstan and Build Their Capacity in Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Stabilization

The project to support Kyrgyzstan’s environmental organizations and build their capacity in biodiversity conservation and climate stabilization is a large-scale initiative designed to strengthen and improve the activities of environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Kyrgyzstan. The project’s main goal is to support and strengthen the role of NGOs in solving the country’s environmental problems, including biodiversity conservation and countering climate change.

The project’s main steps and activities include:

Financial support: the project provides grants and financial assistance to environmental NGOs so that they can implement their environmental-protection projects, including research, monitoring, educational programs, and campaigns to address climate challenges.

Technical support: environmental organizations gain access to technical knowledge and resources that help them effectively conduct their projects. This may include training in project management, data collection, communications, and public outreach.

Networking: the project helps strengthen cooperation between different environmental organizations and create networks for exchanging experience and resources.

Education and public mobilization: the project conducts educational events and campaigns to raise awareness of environmental problems and climate challenges among society and young people.

Assessment and monitoring: regular assessments and monitoring of the effectiveness of NGO activities and the achievement of goals in biodiversity and climate are conducted.

This project aims to strengthen the environmental sector in Kyrgyzstan, improve its capacity to address global environmental problems, and provide a scientific basis for solutions that promote biodiversity conservation and climate stabilization in the region.
