The EU-funded “Zhashyl Klimat” project announces a competition for local communities in Issyk-Kul, Naryn and Jalal-Abad regions to take part in the project as pilot communities.
A climate change vulnerability assessment will be conducted in the pilot local communities’ territory; a practice of participation by local communities, women and youth in making environmentally important decisions will be developed and implemented; a plan of pilot projects for climate change adaptation will be developed and implemented.
